Local 2025 SF set to announce decision

Studio City (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake four-star small forward Nikolas Khamenia, the 36th-ranked overall player in the 2025 class, took an official visit to UCLA in early October.

He will decide between Arizona, Duke, Gonzaga, North Carolina and UCLA. The Bruins were his last official visit.

Raider point shaving?

For the life of me, I can't understand why the Raiders kicked a field goal, down 8, on the Rams' 10 yard line with just a few minutes left. Sure, the Raiders got the ball back, buried on their side of the field with very, very little time left, and virtually no hope.

Then, I saw that the point spread was Raiders +7.

Raiders covered because they kicked a stupid field goal.

Someone please tell me why I am wrong; why it made sense to kick the field goal rather than go for the TD and 2pt conversion.
