Local HS playoff coverage has ramped up and had me tied up Wednesday.

I’ll be doing the same Friday, which means I won’t be at the UCLA men’s basketball game vs. Lehigh and won’t be watching the football team’s contest at Washington.

If you asked me a month ago what I thought the odds of our football team making a bowl, I would have said 2%. If you had asked me the odds of our basketball team making the tournament, I would have said 98%. Right now I think either one is 50/50.
