The good: The defense played well enough to stop Hawaii’s last drive and Garbers played well enough to win.
The bad: The running game and specifically Harden’s 1 yard average. Heck, I could fall forward and pick up a yard. The playing calling and OL was just awful. Coach Foster game decisions showed his inexperience as HC.
The ugly: UCLA’s performance overall. This is Hawaii, for Pete sake…not LSU or Ohio State and their QB was hobbling. It give them a D minus…both coaching and players

Quite the opening statement in a kicking battle that went into the week of practices. Will be interesting to see if Blake Glessner will still handle the longer field goals or if this sealed things going into the home opener.

Huntington Beach QB Brady Edmunds, who has already visited UCLA at least four times and was at the prospect camp in June, picked up an offer this morning.

Nebraska or UCLA...it seems like Nebraska has the lighter schedule, playing heavyweights suc and Ohio State. So, they could end with 8-10 wins. UCLA has a tougher road playing Washington, Oregon, suc, LSU, Penn State, Iowa. Even Fresno State and Nebraska at Nebraska could be tough.

After practice wrapped up, ESPN reported that Stephanie London Krogius is being brought on as the executive senior associate AD/chief development officer in a fundraising role that will help adapt to the NIL era.
