I took a closer look at the international influence in college basketball and how UCLA is hoping to become a destination for some of the top players overseas looking to hone their skills at the college level.

With UCLA off this weekend and it being the midway point of the regular season, I did a bit of a rewind on its 6-0 start to the year

Just chatted with Maddox, who is very interested in UCLA after picking up his offer this evening. He is planning to be in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks for the Stanford game. The three-star said he's been talking with OL coach Tim Drevno for the past 2-3 weeks.

Maddox is a late-blooming senior, who just picked up his first power five offer from Kansas recently. Florida is also expressing interest as well as he'll be in Gainesville for a visit this weekend. TCU, Kansas State, and Auburn are other programs expressing interest as well.
