A Sick Action, And The Reaction Is Not A Surprise

The action was 6'4" 220# Baylor wide receiver Ishmael Zamora beat his dog with a wide belt in the head, then stomped the head for good measure. The dog's crime? He went in the house (and I'm betting it was because Zamora left him in too long).

Considering that Baylor purposely tried to stall and / or minimize rape reports involving their football players, it's not surprising Zamora is still on the team and hasn't even missed a practice. Never fear though, new head coach Jim Grobe is going to discipline him......"internally."

However while the beating took place in June and there was a month long investigation afterwards, Grobe says "we haven’t decided exactly what we’re going to do."

To gauge what this discipline might be worth, we only have to know that according to Grobe, Zamora only "spanked his dog" and "other than losing his temper with the dog, I think he's taken pretty good care of him."
