Here's an interesting take on speedster Damian Holloway from a Notre Dame beat writer:

Despite the loud and oft repeated claims from The Chorus that the staff lazy or on vacation, they've sure hung in there for this recruit. Even from the ND point of view the Bruins are right up there. From the link:
"I can kind of say that Notre Dame has the edge, because I'm coming right off the visit and they are fresh on my mind. What they showed me on the visit, really impressed me. I have to go back home and talk with my family. I would say UCLA is neck and neck with them, but we just have to see if leaving California is something that I should do. It's a decision that I have to make".
Damian visited South Bend on July 23rd, and more than one analyst thought he was so enamored with the Irish that a verbal might be forthcoming short thereafter. However that hasn't happened and ND might (just like the Cal and UCLA assumptions of a verbal before them) find that as time goes by Holloway gets conflicted and doesn't pull the trigger.
