Four-star athlete Jordan Anderson stopped by UCLA for a visit today. The 51st-ranked prospect in the class recently made the move to Millikan HS in Long Beach after previously attending Warren HS in Downey. He's a standout player on both sides of the ball but is likely to fit in as a receiver at the next level. He's been really impressive when I've watched him this offseason, and he has all the skills already to be a difference maker when he arrives in college. His recruitment has really hit a new level since transferring schools and a ton of programs from across the country are now involved.
Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Utah, USC and Washington State are the Pac-12 schools that have offered him up to this point while programs outside the league such as Tennessee, Michigan, Cincinnati, Purdue and Maryland have also offered him at this stage. Tennessee, where his former quarterback Nico Iamaleava recently committed, has emerged as a top contender but he is keeping things open for the time being. Oregon, Arizona and Utah are a few of the other schools that have emerged as some of the early schools to stand out in his recruitment.
UCLA has not yet offered Anderson, but getting him on campus is definitely an important step.
He caught 32 passes for 576 yards receiving and nine touchdowns as a sophomore.
