There's a solid chance we get the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, since the SEC is short on bowl eligible teams. The Pac is heavy on bowl eligible teams, so looks like we'll end up in a non affiliated bowl (which is a good thing since Pac tie ins are so weak).
If that happens, and the ACC bowl invites play out regionally, there's a chance we get to play Florida St. It could be the Disappointment Bowl, but whatever. We haven't played FSU in forever (can't remember the last time) and I think Rosen vs their defense with like 5 potential first rounders would be amazing. Really hoping this happens.
Otherwise Virginia and Wake are the others who could get that spot. Wake could be cool but obviously far less interesting from a brand/viewership standpoint. Guess we'll see, should be interesting.
