Trust me, I've lived here 35 years, there's nothing on earth that is more important than Nebraska football in this state. I've seen all of their games and they are A LOT better than their record. They lost 4 games in the last few seconds or on the very last play of the game, sort of like the Washington State game for us.
They beat Michigan State (their only loss) #7 at the time, now in the BCS playoff. And they could have and should have beaten Iowa #4, who just played in the Big 10 Championship.
Who did we beat?
We didn't even make it to our our own championship playoff.
And those of you who don't think Nebraska travels well, think again, they travel as well or better than any fan base in the nation. There is no question that will be a lot more Nebraska fans at the game than UCLA fans- guaranteed.
We certainly have the talent to beat this team I just hope we don't go into this game thinking we are playing a losing record push over.
If we lose this game, I might actually have to move out of state so that I will not have to face my friends ever again. I wanted to play Michigan or an SEC team like Florida or LSU.
