Ed,
On TOS there are multiple threads discussing Mora's chewing out of Chris Clark and Josh Rosen...regarding whether it was good or bad for the program, whether there is a double standard (Mora asked the media not to report on Clark and asked the media to report his words to Rosen), whether this behavior is out of character for Mora, whether players will end up resenting Mora...etc, etc., etc.
I've been to a number of practices and have seen him be tough on various players for various things. Last year in San Bernardino, I was there when he lit into Big Ellis because Ellis was late for practice and apparently because Ellis wasn't working hard enough to shed some weight. He shared some choice words and sent Big Ellis off to the side to do conditioning work with the staff.
From my perspective, this is nothing different than we would expect to see at your local high school football field. Seems to me the problem, if we want to call it a problem, is the access of the public and media to the practice sessions and the relative ease to share the details of each practice via social media.
Curious to see what your take is on Mora and his treatment of his players.
Thanks
