First, what is up with Massington? Is he injured, is he not getting on the field bc, like Kenny Clark, Peyton can't come off the field bc the drop off is too great? I just saw a kid that hung with Brett and seemed to be immersing himself in the offense kind of disappear. What is your take on him and his future here?
Second, we've watched this O line struggle to put together consistency for a long time. The staff has put together a nice unit through recruiting and coaching. This year, collectively, I think we all thought might be one of the better O lines we've seen in 10 years (and it probably still is, but it's been a rough 10 years). Pass blocking looks great. Run blocking has been ok/good. Then we play Colorado who makes our run blocking look very bad. Not Stanford, Colorado. My long winded question is, with the developments/injuries of this very long season for us, what staters do you see choosing to go to the NFL based on where they are? Not so much should they leave or what round would they go. Rather individually, based on where they are skill/development wise, does McD go? Kenny Lacy? Redmond? Caleb? Or do they come back for another run and to get better?
Thank you Ed and others that have opinions.
