I'm sure some of this comes from my firm belief that every kid in America should want to come to ucla, but I do think we need to make some changes to the commitment rules and would like your opinions.

We will never stop coaches from chasing players until their names are on dotted lines. I further believe that every 17 year old loves to get his ego stroked.

But my idea is quite simple. If a young man commits to a school that player can no longer...

make tours of other campuses
attend other schools camps
Have other schools make in-home presentations

In other word, The only contact should be through phone or social media

I think if a kid verbalizes a commitment to a college it should mean something.
