the notion that "offense wins championships" or " you have to score to win"
We had a great season and this team was exciting and fun to watch!!! To bad it had to end this way but this teams only flaw was lack of defense primarily from the guard position and they were completely exposed tonight. Monk and Fox completely dominated and got any shot they wanted anytime they wanted it but Kentucky won this game on the defensive end. We shot well but had to work for everything and with Kentucky controlling the defensive glass we had very few second chance opportunities. They were also very active in the passing lanes creating numerous turnovers.
They controlled the tempo and we never could get the game sped up to our tempo.
