Let me start by saying I like Ed. I think he truly enjoys this job. Sometimes I get the feeling that the guys responsible for the ucla.scout take it was too seriously and lose site of the joy there is in cheering for our Bruins.
Having said that, I am truly questioning the rivals recruiting team vs scout and 24/7. Does rivals have some problem with our Bruins. It would be one thing if there was a three or four spot separation between the sites, but rivals has continually undervalued our recruits. Two quick examples -
Total rivals puts out an article about the final risers and position best and there is no mention of jalen. Yet, everyone I read and spoke to after army was saying to not be surprised if he became number one player in the country.
And two, 24/7 tonight places the Bruins at 19... scout at 20 and rivals at 32, yes 32. What bothers me most is that we are the only school with that kind of separation among the three top sites.
I know ed believes in us, but come on. A class with 2 - 5 stars is not number 32.
Maybe, someone can explain.
