With Jaylon Smith getting drafted it's pretty clear it's not just the knee.
He's a physical specimen, but his LB tape isn't that great. He had a good freshman year, an average sophomore year, and the limited junior tape isn't good. He hasn't shown great instincts against the run. He's a great cover guy but looked completely out of place as an ILB. I'm guessing also that temper tantrum didn't help him any.
I think he has more upside as a RB, maybe as an oversized safety.
