Both looked impressive.

Kendricks, has the ability to be long time starter in the NFL and Pro Bowler. He did what we know he can do very well. Great tackler, he's not gonna lay the wood a lot but he drove his hips and ran his feet and made some solid tackles. He also covered very well, looked quick and never got tested down the middle. His hips and feet look quicker. One thing that he did better than what he showed in college was blitzing. I believe he had a sack and a couple of hurries, he slithered his way in there very well. A couple things that he didn't do very well that he did in college was being the general out there. Very understandable, he's a rookie in a new system that's very complicated. The last thing, he got engulfed a couple times by some linemen.

Zumwalt is in danger of not making the squad but he looked very good and bought himself sometime and if he keeps it up I don't see how he doesn't make the team. He played the whole second half making a few stops at the LOS. He did what he did well in college, he looked very good blitzing. But he also didnt tackle as well as he should like he did in college. He missed a sack on a blitz!!! He covered very well, he undercut an out against a TE and tipped the ball in the air that 9 out of 10 times gets intercepted. Aside from that missed sack he looked great.
