7 players declared for the NBA draft. Another, Alex Poythress is considering the jump as well. It includes the Harrison twins that are projected to go in the second round and Johnson who played just 16 minutes a game and averaged 6 points a game. I am wondering if blue chip players are going to continue to want to sacrifice floor time to play at Kentucky? Also, I think some kids leave them early for fear of getting even less time in the future and completely ruin their change at a NBA career. Some crazy dynamics with the huge load of talent that the school seems to bring in each year. Not sure that being 10-11 deep is anymore effective than having a strong 8 man rotation. Just my thoughts.
