The three-star safety was one of several official visitors this weekend. Here's what he had to say about the trip:
On the overview of his visit:
"We got there Friday at about 11 and it was cool. I loved it. I wouldn’t want to be nowhere else next year. Or in the next three weeks, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
On his favorite parts of the trip:
"Probably going over where I fit in on the defense and walking through the dorms and having the meetings with my dad and the coaches and the academic advisors."
On what Demetrice Martin told him about his future:
"That I'm going to play safety next year but if I keep on growing and stuff I may not end up playing that."
On what he's measuring in at now:
"6-1 and a half, and 195."
On when is "too big" for safety:
"Probably when I can't move as well as I move now."
On Khaleke Hudson:
"He was real cool. I think we're going to get him. He told me he really likes it."
On Boss Tagaloa and Devin Asiasi:
"They were really cool too. I don't know what they're going to do. They made it kind of hard (to say where they're going). But we were trying to get them to come to our side. We were all kicking it and stuff but we just didn't really talk about where they're going to end up. They both said that they have UCLA high on their lists, but they have to do what's best for them. So you can't really get mad at that."
On growing a better bond with Ground Zero teammate Breland Brandt:
"I think we developed a tighter bond. It was just cool. It was cool seeing what kind of dude he is outside of lifting and training and stuff like that."
On anything else that stood out about the trip:
"We went out Friday and Saturday night and got to hang out with the team and our hosts (Nate Meadors for Leni) … It was a great trip all around."
On when he enrolls:
"January 6, I believe."
