Great Win. This team was in the top 5 in the nation a few weeks ago. We are better than some on this board give us credit. Despite what some on this board say about the coaches they have put us in position to have a shot at the PAC12 championship and a great bowl birth.
No False Starts......in fact only a handful of penalties all game, HUGE improvement.
Defense denied a touchdown all game......pretty salty holding them to 9. Utah averages about 33 points a game and has not been held to single digits all year by any other defense. Granted Booker was out but his replacement wasn't a scrub, dude could hit some holes fast.
On offense, our O-line frequently we got jammed by Utah's defensive front and they did get thru to Rosen several times. But we did the best we could do with all of the juggling of personnel going on up front.
Please acknowledge that Utah has one of the best D-lines in the conference and all of our guys were gassed due to the thin air at an elevation the Utes are used to.
That being said I too would have liked to see a few screen passes thrown in to reduce the vicious pass rush and blitzing.
