Florida State led virtually the entire game and finished off Duke by 16, 88 to 72. (The official scorer is still mulling over the figures on how many Seminoles Grayson Allen tripped). So Duke is likely to fall out of the Top Ten.

Baylor University's first ever No. 1 ranking was probably the shortest in history as they were served a huge can of whoop ass 89 to 68 by West Virginia. Compared to UCLA last second loss by a bucket, you'd have to think they'd jump over Baylor in the next poll.

No. 2 Kansas was down by nine at the half....playing at home, to Oklahoma with their sub .500 record. They rallied to win by 11, but sure didn't do themselves any favors with voters.

Likewise No. 6 Kentucky didn't look great against .500 Villanova. Fortunately for them they were on the road, so they won't drop, but may not move up either.

Last game of note for the top of the rankings...No. 3 Villanova looked very good at home against No. 15 Xavier. It was never in doubt after a tie mid first half. 'Nova took the Musketeers to the woodshed from that point on and won by 25, 79 to 54.
