Jim Mora, Angus McClure and several players met with the media today. The notes:

-Mora said Nate Iese "is doing well" with his injury but he'll be a "gametime decision" Saturday.

-Mora on recruiting implications of the big game: I don't think they're "as significant as most people believe." Mora, though, went on to say UCLA is "dealing with a monster" at USC just because of their history and the Bruins are "fighting that" constantly. He stressed that the one game doesn't factor in too much, saying kids that are going to be Trojans are going to be Trojans no matter what: "There are some kids you just can't pull away."

-Mora said this senior day will be the "toughest one yet" just because these were the guys Mora's been with for the entirety of his time at UCLA.

-Eddie Vanderdoes said even though he committed to USC during the recruiting process, there's not more added emphasis on this game than any other rivalry the Bruins have.

-Vanderdoes said USC's O-line is the best one they'll face all season.

-Fafaul on getting the game ball from Mora: "It was pretty cool." He said he gave the ball to his mom.
