Given the state of our OL in this new offense I've been watching the tapes provided for each. Rudd the JC transfer is big and looks ok, but I like the aggression I see in the other two who have committed so far. Jaxson Kirkland from Jesuit HS up her in Portland looks particularly good. He reminds me of the Utah and BYU lineman putting people into the ground, he's got that "dog" in him. Kanan Ray has that two although somewhat "smaller" (of course he's gonna grow).
Who else is out there and who are we targeting? Do you think they would fit well with the smash mouth sets or a rpo offense? Just curious what those of you who more closely follow the recruiting think.
Also, your ideas for our next OL coach? I suggested someone from FCS Cal Poly Pomona as some who has excellent college coaching experience for a very successful running team in the Big Sky conference.
