Mora is going to have to rebuild some of the fan interest he lost in this past season. While attendance was down 13% that is only part of the story. Whether offseason or in season all of the bungling by this staff was incredible.
If Mora does stand pat with the staff, or just offers a sacrificial lamb in Taylor Mazzone, that may not be enough. I really don't want to hear about the injuries. Injuries happen to every team. UCLA 's injuries were different only in that the major ones happened very early in the season as opposed to some teams late season injuries.
A few loyal fans have told me over this past month that they aren't even going to watch our bowl game, after the SUC performance. The coaching screw-ups on our part were a total turnoff. Personally I'll be watching but this staff is so erratic with their performances, I don't know what to expect. Players win and lose games but the coaches have to put the players in a position to win. I'm not sure that's happening from game to game.
It will be interesting to see how up coming season ticket sales are affected.
