They have been a pipeline of sorts to UCLA, including Cassius Marsh, Jordan Payton,
and Ishmael Adams among many others. WR Michael Pittman switched and landed at SC.
Sr QB Matt Corral first signed with UCLA, then switched to SC, and then switched again
to Florida, and even switched high schools for his Senior year moving to Long Beach Poly,
where he threw for 7 TDs last week.
Oaks had some talent transfer in this year, too, including 6'5" Kayvon Thibodeaux, a weakside
defensive end currently rated as the national #1 WDE for 2019. I helped at his game last week
as an on-the-field spotter so I was able see him up close quite a lot. What a talent, he was All-City
last year as a Sophomore at Dorsey before transferring to Oaks. A top student and smart kid.
I hope the Bruin coaches are on him. Some scouting services rate him as the #1 overall national recruit at any position as a Junior.
