J'Raan Brooks is a still slender, but very skilled true 4 star Power Forward forward from Seattle Garfield HS, committed to USC way back in early June. He's now re-opened his recruitment and don't expect the Trojans to get him back.
Stay tuned, because there may be another shoe to drop at the Gaylen Center. San Diego San Agustine HS 6'8" SF Taeshon Cherry was heavily recruited by UCLA, but also committed to USC.
With the departure of Brooks, the Trojans have to convince Cherry they'll get a replacement for Brooks, because Taeshon would be wary of having to play inside otherwise.
