The Trojans had a chance to pull away, leading by 5 with the ball after a steal at 2:23. Then they self destructed and only scored one point in the last minute.

Boatwright only made one of two free throws at 58 seconds. Then McLaughlin couldn't convert a layup, and they got zero points out of a potential four by missing the front end free throw twice. The first at 27 seconds, then again at 12 seconds.

Nice choke job.
