Four-star quarterback Ryan Kelley from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha was unable to make it to the Rose Bowl on Saturday after getting knocked out of his game Friday night.
Kelley, one of the Bruins' top priorities in the 2017 class, tells me his family had to scratch plans to see UCLA because it was feared he had suffered a broken elbow in his game against powerhouse Chandler, which pressured him all night Friday.
He got a second opinion and additional X-rays, and he's only expected to miss 1-2 weeks. He intends to reschedule his visit to Los Angeles for November (the only home game next month is Wazzu on Nov. 14).
Kelley plans to visit Oregon this coming weekend.
