All year the Pac 12 got maligned and when the committee put UCLA in the tournament haters like the bitter thief Doug Gottleib ranted how the conference was overrated and the Bruins in particular shouldn't have even been in. In the meantime the Big 12 was held up as having the best conference in college basketball.
