Fairly eventful Monday out at UCLA. We spoke with Mora, Brendel and Perkins (videos on the front page). Notes here:
-Mora and Brendel both said Fred Ulu-Perry was just homesick and wanted to return back to Hawaii. Mora said it does indeed look like he's going to transfer to Hawaii.
-Mora updated us on injuries. He said there were quite a few players out today (they had a walk-on OL playing with the starters), but he expects everybody to be back for the bowl game. We also asked about the out-for-the-season guys, and he said everybody should be on track for at least fall practice. He specifically mentioned Eddie Vanderdoes' recovery going well.
-Paul Perkins said he has submitted his name for draft evaluation and he'll make a decision after the bowl game. He said beating USC and becoming UCLA's all-time leading rusher are motivating factors for him to return.
-Mora told a funny story about how Josh Rosen walked into his house Sunday morning after the USC loss, laid down on his couch and cheered him up. Said he loves his demeanor.
