Like Tuesday's Big Man Camp, Wednesday only featured a couple prospects that UCLA is legitimately looking at:
-Four-star TE Erik Krommenhoek was the only target at the event with an offer and he looked solid. A big-bodied TE with good enough hands. UCLA coaches seemed to be pushing him for a pledge, and I'm actually surprised one didn't come today. It sounds like he's pretty much down to UCLA and USC here, and a decision is coming in a few weeks. My money is still on the Bruins.
-2018 QB Brevin White threw it well in individuals, but struggled to find completions in the 7-on-7 period. He's very interested in UCLA and is looking for the offer, but he left the camp without one.
-2018 ATH JR Justice, son of former MLBer David Justice, had a pretty good showing out there today. He ran a 4.6ish 40-yard dash and played QB, WR and CB. He's probably a CB at the next level, and if he keeps improving, he's a guy I could see UCLA eventually offering.
-2017 WR Tyler Asemota, who has a few offers, was intriguing at the beginning of camp because he's a huge wideout who ran a 4.6ish 40-yard dash. But he failed to make the tough catches and probably won't land a Bruin offer.
And that was about it today. Tomorrow's camp is expected to be more of the same, with Friday having all the headliners.
