@Utah and vs ASU will tell us everything we don't already know about this team. Beyond more Mora conjecture or bowl eligibility or press conferences or Rosen or injuries or excuses, these games are about a gut check. To me, these games will show us just how tough, resilient, and dedicated our guys are. And the line is simple, you go 2-0, we have something to build on, you have some character on board, you have some dogs. You go 1-1 or 0-2, you're losers, quitters, SOFT, and you need to go hide somewhere.
You could make the argument that Memphis, Stanford, Arizona, and Washington were games we should have lost anyway. They're all top 25 teams so they're objectively better than UCLA. But you simply cannot say that about Utah or ASU - we're equals. But Utah is actually garbage. They can't do anything right and they've had more injuries than UCLA. So there can literally be ZERO excuses for losing this game. Same with ASU. That's a home game against a team that's been exposed and brought back to reality. That's a must win if I've ever seen one.
It doesn't matter if we have Rosen or not. Run the ball down these teams freakin' throats and win the old fashioned way. Prove your manhood. That's what I want to see.
2-0. Nothing less.
