I know some will hate to read this. But, the facts are becoming clearer. Chip believes he can win with a "superior" scheme, even if he has "inferior" players.

1. In Philly- He lets go of Jackson and McCoy, among others, because they
did not "fit" the system. At UCLA--he purges a great deal of the team
including OL that are playing for other teams. This team could use
a pass rusher-Jaelan Phillips is gone.

2. The recruiting has been dismal since he took over. Now, part of that is
on Mora and the Bruins record. But, the effort from the staff has not
been good. The lack of offers to players who would love to come to
UCLA is on record.

3. The coaching has been odd at best and awful at worst. If you are
evaluating your talent-why play a 3-4? The team had a fair amount
of good to solid DL. They lacked LBs. Why not tailor the scheme
to the existing talent?

The Bruins are 3-10 since he took over. I know it is 1 game. But, the O was supposed to be the strength of this team. They had 218 yards of total offense. Only 62 rushing yards. This could be a long season, if he does not find a QB and a running game. I am praying Kelley and Howard are back for SDSU.
