I am a Bruin diehard for life.
I will never forsake the Bruins.
I will cheer for them no matter the circumstances.
But I have to admit, this particular team is shaking my faith down to its foundation.
Throughout more than 65 years of watching UCLA football, I have always, always believed on any given day we could beat our opponent no matter the odds.
This is no longer true with this team.
I will still watch every game, but no longer do I feel (without Rosen) there is hope for winning any particular game.
I look forward to the three remaining games like I look forward to seeing the dentist. I will show up ad grit my teeth.
I have not given up on the Bruins. They are my team for life, but my life is closer to the end than the beginning so I hope something positive happens to get this team going in the right direction again.
I don't believe there's an easy fix. It will take time. But UCLA is a great university and the football program will rise again . . . . . . . someday. Hope it's soon.
