DB and Bruin target Troy Warner of Mission Hills H.S. in San Marcos committed to the Oregon Ducks today. As a teammate of Bruin signee DeChaun Holliday it was hoped Warner would follow him to Westwood, but apparently the lure of playing for a team that made the first ever championship game was too much.
The good news is UCLA did very well on DB recruits last year and there are several still on the board for this year. In fact while Holliday is an unbelievably talented WR, it's expected that he will start out in the defensive backfield.
