I would think Kevin Plank and UA are trying to get involved here, but does anyone know where the rules start and end when it comes to a company having a role in influencing the hiring process?
Childers/Neuheisel for all of their uselessness did mention this morning that Plank was in attendance at the ASU game. I was at that game and it was the saddest quietest crowd I've seen since 2011...Plank could not have been pleased. Bad look for their investment.
A lot of this impetus had got to be coming from him, and if he and Wasserman have a private channel together, then Dan is totally at their mercy. And I think Plank/Wass think like most of us in here. Big splash hire, no retreads, flagship coach for a flagship program. If Kellly gets away, I'd imagine it would be despite the full efforts of Plank.
But again I just don't know much he can legit be involved. Any idea?
