Hopefully I'm not stepping on Ed's next Bite, but a Texas high school football writer tweeted the following about a big Houston DT named Jordan Elliot:

Westside (TX) DT Jordan Elliott was offered by #UCLA, #OregonSt, & #Minnesota tonight. Didn't take long after he decommitted from #Houston.

It may mean nothing, but sure jumps out at you that according to Elliot's Rivals page (linked below) he had offers from some big names....Alabama, Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma, A&M, and our friends who play at the Coliseum. However he remained committed until UCLA, Oregon State, and Minnesota offered.

Call me crazy but I'm thinking a Texas kid didn't turn to play in the Minneapolis snow, and Corvallis doesn't seem likely either. Is it possible the UCLA offer spurred him to d-ecommit?
