In 2024 they were 84th with 11 commits and last season, UCLA was 45th with 20 commits. This year UCLA has steadily improved with a half dozen 4-star players, a large number of out of state players, despite not having a large NIL budget. What changed was the commitment by Foster, to recruit HS players as a foundation and hire coaches that love to get out there and recruit. Beyond that he hired a successful general manager and support staff to help with scouting and recruiting.
