It turns out that Kolin is the younger brother of former NFL player Kenny Demens. Prior to his three years with the Arizona Cardinals, Kenny started at LB for the Michigan. In his senior campaign he led the Wolverines in tackles.
Kenny Demens also played for Country Day, and interestingly enough he was a 3 star recruit prior to his senior year there. Just like Kolin is now.
Here are some highlights of Kolin from his junior year. Like Myles Jack, Kolin plays both ways and with style. He lines up inside and outside on defense, and primarily plays running back on offense. However he also plays wide receiver on occasion, and can throw a great pass on end around plays.

While there is the Jack comparison of playing both ways, Kolin is not as big nor the athletic freak Myles was. The good news is that he actually will remind you of a Bruin LB. The one with the initials EK, as Kolin is also very fundamentally strong, plays a very smart game, and always seem to be where the ball is.
