Three-star 2016 defensive lineman and UCLA offered him about a year ago. So we had an interesting chat tonight.
Here were some of the details:
-I asked him what he thinks Roquan is going to do. His answer: "I really don't know to be honest."
-I asked him if UCLA has told him or Roquan anything about the new defensive coordinator. His answer: "Nothing now."
-I asked if he had still been in contact with Scott White, who many are predicting to replace Mike Tuiasosopo on staff: "Oh yeah, that's my boy. He real cool."
-As for his recruitment, he said UCLA is currently his leader, which can't hurt the Bruins' chances with Smith. "UCLA is my leader," Walker said. "Just waiting it out a minute."
