Chip Kelly got the chance to talk with his future quarterback Sunday night.
"It was really good," four-star QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson said of the phone conversation with UCLA's new head coach. "He wants me as his QB. Sees a lot of Marcus Mariota in me and loves my tape."
As for what he thought of Kelly from a personality standpoint?
"He seems really upbeat and ready to get things started," the quarterback commit said.
Thompson-Robinson added that Jedd Fisch is doing an in-home visit with the quarterback on Monday night.
