How much of an impact do you think that other two Ball brothers, LiAngelo and LeMelo, will have on UCLA basketball?
LiAngelo is already regarded as the least skilled member of a highly-recruited class and in a brutally honest interview in GQ today, LaVar told his sons it was unlikely all three of them would make it to the NBA, that the number was probably two and could be one -- Lonzo.
I understand we made an early commitment to all of the Balls and I think it's important for UCLA to honor those commitments, but at what point do you start to wonder if the other two are really D1 material?
It will be interesting to see what kind of team Chino Hills has with Melo leading it as a junior. He can shoot the ball from just about anyplace, but some of those shots aren't good ones and he is not yet an above-the-rim type player.
I think LaVar was right about his first son, but he has probably oversold -- this is what he does -- a bit on the other two.
