Yesterday 4th seed Gonzaga really struggled against 13 seed UNC Greensboro, then 4th seeded Arizona was blown out by the 13th seeded Buffalo Bulls. Today the 13th seeded Thundering Herd of Marshall took out #4 seeded Wichita State, outscoring the Shockers by nine points in the second half.
Later today 4th seeded Auburn takes on 13 seed Charleston, a school with a history of some memorably well played games in the tournament. Keep an eye on that one.
A buffalo fan, Kyle Hughes, had promised friends he'd body slam a table for an upset, and got a chance last night to make good. Hopefully he'll find a replacement table to slam for Calipari's squad of pros.
