Does anyone want to take a guess on what the two deep will look like before camp? I genuinely don’t have an educated guess.

I’d be interested to see if this means defensive analyst Scott White will be the unofficial inside linebackers coach to free up defensive coordinator Ikaika Malloe to roam a bit more.

Catching up on this now since it happened while I was out at the camp. A four-star Rivals100 recruit in the 2026 class.

As previously mentioned, Loyola will be among the schools at the UCLA 7-on-7 camp that goes from about noon to 7 p.m.

The double-elimination tournament will include hands-on training by the UCLA coaches.

Who are the remaining players we have offered and/ or are targeting for the 2025 class?

As they lost their top two 2025 defensive verbals. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving pile of dung. Let the trend continue.

According to UCLA’s move-in post on Instagram, tagged and photographed were former Iowa State offensive lineman Oluwafunto Akinshilo and BYU quarterback Nick Billoups (fourth and fifth slide in the post).

Matt is in Glendale for the boys basketball event taking place at the home of the Arizona Cardinals.

I’ll pass along any updates he sends my way as far as who Mick Cronin and the UCLA staff is watching.

As a Giants fan, knowing Willie Mays was alive and representing greatness in baseball, in life, in joy….was a lot like being a Bruin and knowing John Wooden was a special human or that Kareem represents all of us so well.

Willie Mays is the greatest player to ever walk the earth. He was pretty much perfect in every aspect of the game. He may have hit 800 homers if he hadn’t played at Candlestick. (Or with shorter mounds.)

The world lost a great man. Please spare me the Giants hate on this one.

At midnight June 15, recruits in the 2026 recruits were officially allowed to be contacted directly by coaches via calls, texts, DMs and emails.

Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney had some thoughts on what makes him a particularly intriguing recruit:

It sounds like UCLA and the rest of the schools could be getting more than the initially projected $60 million.

The event is taking place at Mira Costa HS in Manhattan Beach.

It started yesterday, but I’ll be there tonight.

About to make my drive to campus. I’ll post quotes and any video interviews I do as I can throughout the day or when I get back home.

Monday will signal the start of the final week of official visits and, from the looks of it, there will be staggered visit dates. That will likely be the case in the second half of the week with another group that should begin arriving Thursday.

On top of that, the coaches will be putting recruits from 2025 to 2028 classes through drills and combine-style testing and measurements when the program hosts its prospect camp Tuesday.

Kickers, punters and long snappers from all classes will all be in one group at the very start of the camp.

Otherwise, the 2027 and 2028 campers will go from 8:45-10:30 a.m., 2026 campers will go from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and 2025 campers will end the day from 2:15-4 p.m.
