Is it just me or do others also think our high-powered offense would be even better if we were better in the red zone?
We are averaging 39.9 points per game which is the 14th highest in the nation, but our red zone scoring is only 81.82 percent which is 71st nationally.
I have always loved Chip Kelly’s offense and 40 points per game is nothing to nitpick about, but I feel we can do better.

I think the defense played their best but clearly, their best wasn't good enough. We could have the best defensive plan but UCLA didn't have the players to win

I think Oregon loses another game (either Utah or OSU). Utah could lose to Oregon. Toss up with us and SC at the moment.
That would make an interesting set up for the Pac 12 championship.

What happened to our defense?
I wasn’t able to watch any of it, but I did listen to it.
Why weren’t we able to put pressure on Nix?
Why was Oregon able to move be down the field so easily?
Was it our schemes?
Did Oregon’s offense just manhandled us?
How did Latin look?
The Murphy twins?
Our Dbs?
Has nothing changed — great offense, so-so defense?
We’re we lulled (I was) into a false sense of greatness by a weak pre-conference schedule and wins the ver Washington and Utah?
I have always felt — and still do — we had a good chance to win two of our past three games and could beat up on the rest of our schedule to set up a great game with Sc.
But now I am wondering if we had better not take anything for granted.
Our D just has to step up.
DTR and Charbonnet are doing all they can.
I need a win to start feeling good again.

Dropping three spots isn’t that bad, all things considered. Having some other previously unbeaten teams take their first loss lessened some of the blow in terms of how the rankings shake out.

Looking at the most up-to-date forecast at this second: It says it should be clear and sunny by kickoff, with a 60 percent chance of rain in the area at 2 p.m. and throughout the rest of the game.

So, UCLA’s passing attack basically has the entire first half to get going before a wet football comes into play.

The defense was hard to watch, but UCLA will have to digest it in the next film session. What the Bruins can learn from Oregon as it bridges the gap between now and the next big test against USC in mid-November:
