a lot has been written and said about alford coming back next year no matter what because of the ridiculous buyout gifted to him. last night might have changed things though.
what i haven't seen is how our new apparel deal will effect the buyout. someone please correct me if i'm wrong but didn't adidas pay for howland's buyout from pitt? we already met with adidas and will meet with both nike and under armor in the spring. couldn't we add a stipulation that the winning bid has to take care of the buyout? is this just wishful thinking on my part?
