We played three teams that are still undefeated in Oregon, Penn State, and Indiana. Indiana and Oregon have the highest point differentials among the major conferences.

LSU has lost twice but has won big games in the SEC.

Minnesota was indeed a bad loss but even then they are 5-3.

We should absolutely be 3-4 instead of 2-5, but we have a historically hard schedule this season in a rebuilding year.

I’m frustrated with the running game and the game management as much as anyone. So the schedule doesn’t erase what I see as certain aspects of coaching malpractice. It just takes the sting out of it a little.

We still have four difficult games and even Fresno State seems improved. I think we all misjudged Iowa. Nebraska outplayed OSU yesterday in Columbus. Washington has lost a few close games against good opponents. USC beat a team we lost big to and played Penn State until the final snap, so as much as we laugh at their relative failures, they have a better resume so far.
