I've never quite understood the logic of running a hurry up offense and a bend don't break defense. It would seem if you're going to run a hurry up you want a defense that is aggressive and gets big plays which get them off the field since the offense is not interested in controlling the clock and keeping them fresh.
A bend don't break defense would seem to be more appropriate if you are going to control the clock on offense and wear people down.
Is this something Mora has ever addressed? Am I crazy?
