for UCLA. On paper, it's a meaningless game...the last game of the season. BUT it has huge importance to the program and to Coach Foster. He needs to end on a winning note and build towards next season. For some players, it's a dress rehearsal to showcasing their talents towards transferring to other schools. For the seniors, especially for Garbers, it's a final goodbye to the Rose Bowl and the start of their next chapter in life.
Now that the season is nearly over the coaches needs to regroup and address their many needs, a starting QB, a new OL, a re-tooled DL. The transfer portal starts again in mid-December as well as early signing for the HS players. A couple of weeks but it's the most important couple weeks of prep work and evaluation.
Is this Carson Schwesinger last game as a Bruin? Will he return or turn pro? Certainly, he could make much more at Alabama or Ohio State...does he transfer?
