I get the anti-Alford talk, and I don't disagree. The ridiculous terms of the deal/ buyout clause agreed to initially was bad, but the extension shortly after was deplorable. When will Danny-boy's decisions cost him his job? UCLA basketball is unwatchable both on television and in person (attendance speaks for itself). Alford may be able to recruit and negotiate a contract extension, but is absolutely terrible in games. Something has to give.
