Hate to say it but I think Brett may be waiting for a while yet. It's obvious that the pro teams have been watching a lot of film have seen how he sort of panicked in games where the pocket closed and was somehow unable to get rid of the ball before taking a sack. I think he did a lot better this year than he did last year and playing another year I think he would've been even better. Don't get me wrong I liked Brett a lot, he helped change the culture at UCLA and will go down as one of the best quarterbacks in UCLA history, BUT you still have to keep in mind - college is different than the pros. I think pro teams like to see their quarterback be able to scramble but I don't think they like them running down the field - especially if they don't truly know how to slide.
